Ingredients
  

  • 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Start by washing and drying the jalapeno peppers. Remove the stems and cut the peppers in half lengthwise.
  • Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves and onion.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the jalapenos, garlic, onion, vinegar, salt, sugar, and water.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes, until the jalapenos are softened
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes.
  • Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Once blended, taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Transfer the jalapeno sauce to a clean, airtight jar or bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
