Oreo Brownie Cheesecake Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush 16 Oreo cookies in a food processor or a plastic bag using a rolling pin. Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and mix until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and pour the batter over the Oreo crust.
- Place the remaining 8 Oreo cookies on top of the cheesecake batter and press them slightly into the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centre is slightly wobbly.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
